Creating a great looking set of colors for your design can be hard, but with some tips and some practice anyone can do it! Take a look at these tips and try do apply them in your theme settings:

1. Whith your first try, only make tiny changes to the color, by moving the marker only a few millimeters. This will give you a feel of how much effect a small change can have.
2. If you click the lock icons, the locked colors will change simultaneously* when you change one color. Click them again to unlock
3. Move the color marker upwards to lighten the color, move it the the right to darken the color, and move it to the left to saturate the color.
4. If you just want to use the colors of your house-style you can paste the hex codes right in the color fields.
5. After saving the theme may look slightly different than in preview mode. This is because when saving the server does more processing to get the right colors in the right places. The changes you see before saving the form, are just a best-effort approximation of the more sophisticated work that the server does when you're done setting the colors.
